Innerwork Massage and Reiki

When I was young I knew there was something more than just medicine and doctors office's. We as humans are more complicated than a diagnoses and we have lived for years under the guidance of midwives, elders and holistic practitioners.

In 2008 I embarked on the journey to bring my childhood dream to fruition and went to the Cortiva Institute in Watertown MA, previously knows in Massachusetts as the Muscular Therapy Institute. Having completed their 750 hour massage therapy program, I have added hours of continuing education in other modalities including, scar release techniques, massage for cancer patients, reflexology for relaxation,  and hot stone massage.  I have also completed 32 hr certification training in Pre and Perinatal Massage taught by Carole Osborne.
In 2000 I started my Reiki training and attunement process.  I was awarded my Master Certification in 2011. Currently I am in a 100 hr practicum at Brigham and Womens Hospital as a Reiki volunteer working with patients and family members.

As a licensed massage therapist and a reiki practitioner my goal is not to fix the client on my table but to help their body in the healing process. I try to incorporate multiple modalities into my sessions depending on what each client needs. Each client's visit is created especially for them no two massages will ever be a like.

While in school I focused my attention on the LGBT Community and specifically gender variant/fluid individuals. I believe massage therapy and Reiki treatments can have a  healthful affect no only on the physical body but on the spiritual and mental body.
